I have an old school mate who has lived for a number of years in Australia. This is a photograph he took recently of some ladybirds hatching out of eggs on his window pane. I thought that the image was great, and so, also, the confirmation that it rains Down Under, too.

That is a great photo that he should enter into a photo competition.

Indeed he should. I am also going to encourage him to go into the sea to capture some Great Whites.

I liked it as soon as I saw it. How would we get through a single day without the delights that Facebook offers up?

It is. I may discourage our window cleaners until we get to see something similar.

It definitely rains Down Under – ask anyone who lives in Melbourne. Oz has some quite scary creepy-crawlies, so it’s good to know that they have cute little ladybirds too.

Yes the common perception is giant spiders and killer crocs and sharks. Cute ladybirds balances things up a little, doesn’t it? 🙂
