Make the deal that they’ll do the cooking and kitchen cleaning (!) for 4 weeks. You’d be amazed at how little they suddenly can live.

I just took for granted that you’d not go and behead your kids to see if they can get to ten without head – although making them do the kitchen chores may strike them as just as cruel 😉
