Happy new year! Great songs. The Jeff Buckley video didn’t work on my sad old ipad, but I will check it out another time.

Do-Buckley is cool. Such a sad loss-I included a poem in my book about his death called Wolf River Blues.

Oh, I must have missed the news that he left. I remember him from the 80’s. Then I lost track of his career. Good you included him in your book. Then he will live forever π

Think you’re mixing him up with someone else. His (absent) father Tim Buckley was a singer in the late 60’s/early 70’s, and died young. Jeff himself brought out his much acclaimed debut album in the 90’s. It’s called Grace-a great album. He was going to call his follow up album My Sweetheart the Drunk. He sent demo tapes to his band so they could learn the songs as they flew over to record with him. While they were in the air Jeff had slipped beneath the surface of the Wolf River, his body being found days later. His recordings were later used in the (now titled) album Sketches For My Sweetheart The Drunk. He only released one album in his lifetime. There have been some live albums since released. Most famous is his cover of Leonard Cohen’s song Hallelujah. Google him.

See, my memory is already bad! I’m old π
But the Jeff Buckley name sounds so familiar. I have to search in my memory which name I have mixed this up with. Hmmmmm….
