I remember seeing the Dracula film in which Frank Langella starred. Couldn’t help thinking of that movie when I saw this map. And the book of course. 🙂
Huge Dracula fan after reading the book as a child, from silent “Nosferatu” to Christopher Lee in Dracula AD 72, most every movie based on this character except for the most recent which are too graphic and violent for me. Have you seen “What We Do In The Shadows?” Loved it!
I’ve never seen Shadows, but I’m a Hammer fan of old and so love Christopher Lee’s takes on the Count. Book wise as well as Dracula I love Salem’s Lot, and going back even further than Dracula Carmilla by Sheriden Le Fanu. Incidentally I’ve just downloaded a three hour audio play of Dracula from Big Finish. I normally listen to Doctor Who stories on their app but, you know, Halloween 😀

As a long time Hammer Films fan Christopher Lee, for me, is the quintessential Count.

Did you see the Frank Langella Dracula?

Years ago so don’t recall too much about it. I will definitely catch it the next time it’s on tv.
