(quite selfishly, I’m glad to have visited this icon with my folks, hubby and kiddos in the ’90s)
A lot of the iconic artefacts inside have been reported to be safe, recovered from flames by a human chain. I’ve seen that image that greeted people who went inside afterwards-there is hope. Not least in the form of the French billionaire who has pledged money to rebuild.
I was planning to visit here in 2021-for my fiftieth I’m hoping to visit Paris.
