A few of my fellow bloggers have chosen poems to mark National Poetry Month, which falls in April, and so to take part I’ve chosen the title poem of a collection that I’m currently reading.
It describes the kind of refuge that I often seek.

It seems we’re on the same page – perhaps it’s the times we as individuals in different parts of the same world are experiencing…
As an aside, maybe April should be dubbed INTER-National Poetry Month?

Yes I think the natural world offers some respite from the unnatural world we’ve created.
And yes that’s a good idea-or twelve national poetry months for which we can choose a poet of that particular nationality.
